Amparo Sánchez comes to Granada, the city in which she grew as artist and she presents her last work called Espíritu del Sol; a positive and feminine album, which has an encouraging vision of the world and of the role of the woman in our days. The songs were recorded in Tucson, Mexico, Argentina and Barcelona so that the influences of Latin rhythm and of the rumba as also the beats from the desert and the sounds of the Caribbean are clearly recognizable. In this third solo work there are also two special versions: one of Mano Negra, performed with Joey Burns, and another of Chavela Vargas arranged by Johnny Contreras.
The concert will take place in Sala Plantabaja, placed in Horno de Abad Street. The entrance costs 12€ if bought in advance, and 15€ bought at the ticket window. The events will start at 9:00p.m..
