This time the winter season has made to all the enthusiasts of winter sports a big surprise: clearly the meteorological wishes that made us hope for the opening of the slopes for next 30th November, have been good enough to guarantee that the season started earlier: a week before, it’s Saturday the day for the beginning of the ski season.
Yesterday the minister of Education,Culture and Sport, Luciano Alonso and the delegate counselor of Cetursa, María José López,
have confirmed that today it will be made real the available surface and in a shorter time, among the first snowfalls and starting the system of creation of artificial snow, the Sierra Nevada will be ready to open in this weekend.
Anyway the skiers do not need to be worried because they will have a great season beginning, also thanks to the first snowfalls of the last week and to the low temperatures, that made possible the creation of an a “snow blanket” of excelent quality.
Considering the consequences that all this changes will bring, the Sierra Nevada has also introduced a surprise in the prize:
for this first week, the skii station is offering a promotional prize of 25 euros for adults and of 10 euros for kids until 12 years old.
Although the devices for the opening for a new season request a lot of time (and given that it is an unexpected opening), for this first week, will be opened the underground parking lot of Plaza de Andalucía and will be offered recreational activities at Mirlo Blanco such as the “Russian Sleigh” for families (one of the newest goals of Cetursa this year is family tourism).
The other big goal will young people that practise snowboard and freestyle, to whom Cetursa offers special skipasses..
So far, the “two days skipass during the weekend”, the most purchased, has allowed to more than 300 students per day to ski, especially widespread between the young students of the University of Granada and of Sevilla, Malaga and Madrid.
As a consequence, all those that are working in this world are trying to gain some advantages for everybody..
