Carmen is a characteristic type of housing of Granada. It includes a green space that, at the same time, is a garden and orchard. It is surrounded by a wall, usually white, and within you can admire the lush vegetation.
Carmen of the Martyrs is in Mauror Hill, within walking distance of La Alhambra. Arabs called these lands Ahabul field, whereas they were known as the Corral de Captives by the Christians. It is the largest of all the Cármenes of Granada. It occupies an area of seven hectares on which invites you to enjoy the romantic gardens, Nasrid orchards and extraordinary panoramic views of the city.
