The test of constitutional and sociocultural knowledge of Spain (CCSE test) is an examination test developed by the Cervantes Institute that evaluates, through different parts, the knowledge of the Constitution and Spanish social and cultural reality. It is one of the requirements established by the laws for the granting of Spanish nationality for Sephardic and residents in Spain.
From IMSOL, as the official CCSE examining center, Passing this exam is essential to obtain the Spanish nationality.
With this new app, the candidates for Spanish nationality can study and review their knowledge and prepare for the test. They have two options: they can perform the simulated full exams (with the same structure) or answer questions of different categories with an instant response. After each simulation, the candidate can review the answers to check their successes and errors.
The app has a section of “recommendations” that includes frequently asked questions (F.A.Q), data about the test or useful information for candidates with special needs.
The CCSE tests are conducted 10 times a year, the dates scheduled for the next 2019 calls are:
- May 30;
- June 27th;
- July 25;
- September 26;
- October 31;
- November 28.
Enrollment periods remain open up three weeks before the corresponding exam day and grades are available about three weeks after testing.
Good luck with the CCSE test!
