In previous publications we have told several legends about the Alhambra in Granada, including the legend of the young man and the Falcon or the legend of the Courtyard of the Lions. Today we want to share with you the legend of the Clock of the Sun.
This legend is based on the capture of the Alhambra in its set as a huge clock of Sun. This is understood as well as a simile to the sundial with which is followed by the evolution of the hours of the day in the sunlight.
This phenomenon can also be observed in Alhambra, in the sense that we can appreciate the passing of the day through its rooms. Especially in winter, it is well appreciated how the hours pass, at noon the light breaks into two halves the Alhambra.
