The Sciences Museum of Granada opened its Biodomo for the very first time last Monday, as part of the fifth phase of expansion of the museum. This brand new Biodomo in Granada has had an investment of 12.8 million euros after 6 years of works.
This recreation of the natural atmosphere revolves around the axes of investigation and preservation of nature. It reproduces the Amazonian, Madagascar and Indo-Pacific jungles, and it contains 123 zoological species and 126 botanic species all around its 18000 cubic metres.
This new facility of the Sciences Museum can be considered as a zoo, an aquarium and a botanic garden, all in one, and it is for sure a new attraction in town that we hope to visit soon with our iNMSOL students: so come on and visit Granada!
