Last Monday, July 16, 2018, the new urban bus lines in Granada were launched. From Instituto Mediterráneo Sol we want to inform all our students and users of these important changes. Knowing the urban transport of the city is essential to be able to move easily and explore every corner.
Changes in the names of the lines
From this Monday on, the buses will have a different number and different name, since there has been a reordering of the routes.
The “SN” disappears and the line “LAC” will be merged with the new line 4. The rest are organized into five large groups:
- Main network: lines 33 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 11 and 21
- Complementary North network: lines N1 – N3 – N4 – N5 – N6 – N7 – N8 – N9
- Complementary South network: lines S0 – S2 – S3
- Network center (historic districts): C30 – C31 – C32 – C34 – C35
- Special lines:
- University: U1 – U2 – U3
- Night bus (“the owl”): 111 – 121 (Saturdays and holidays only)
- Cemetery: 13
Lines (except night) operate on weekdays including Sundays and holidays, usually from 06.00 to 00.00 (depending on the line).
The night lines operate only on Saturdays and holidays, from 00.00 to 06.00 hours.
Changes in the routes of the lines
The routes of the buses have also undergone changes. Therefore, the new lines do not correspond exactly to the previous ones, they have slightly changed their routes.
