Mysteries under the Alhambra: the passages
Beneath the surface of this spectacular monument, the Alhambra hides long passageways that run through the basement of the Citadel and even inside the mountain. These passages also hide countless stories and legends that enliven the mystery that surrounds to the most visited monuments in Spain. They were not only an exclusive form of shorten paths between two points:is driving in authentic labyrinths, allowing you to move from one place to another almost without being seen, avoiding possible punishments and reprimands. These tunnels are home rooms, that have had different uses throughout the history. Rooms that have served as stores of wealth and treasures to the sultans, and even claptraps in which hundreds of prisoners were kept in substandard conditions.
