Several groups chose our centre iNMSOL to enjoy their stay in Granada during this month. In this article we will tell you the experience this Italian students in Granada.
On Saturday 9 of March a group composed by 42 Italian students arrived in Granada with a flight from Milan to Malaga, in order to get to Granada.
First every student met his host families, so they established a connection soon. They spent 8 days together and the guys took the opportunity to practice the language and try traditional Spanish dishes.
First excursion: Cordoba
On Sunday they made an excursion in one of the most famous city of Andalusia for its past and architecture, that is Cordoba. They could enter in the Mezquita and lost themselves in its arches, beyond appreciate the nice streets of this city. They felt very good and they would like to stay there more time!
Lessons and activities
On Monday lessons started. We divided them into 4 groups and we prepared an academic program that included 5 days of classes every morning (B2 level). In the afternoon they had some types of excursion, every excursion was very interesting and totally useful in order they could know from near some Spanish costumes. For example, they started with a visit to the centre and Realejo with one of our teachers. For sure the visit to one of the most characteristic zone of the antique history of Granada cannot miss; we are talking about Albaicin and Sacromonte.
Surely they visited not only the different zones of the city, but also some of the most important monuments, like the Cathedral and Royal Chapel.
Apart from this, can you go away from Granada without visiting the Alhambra and the Generalife? Absolutely not! In fact the students remained fascinated by the beauty of this place.
The end of the stay
On Friday afternoon they could walk around the city without an established plan, because it was their last day and on Saturday they went away.
Despite the fact that it was a large group, everybody has demonstrated his readiness to participate in every type of activity in this city that they discovered for the first time.
We wish them luck and hope they will come again to Granada so we can pass together other special days like these that we have just lived.
