The purpose of the author was talk about the civil war from his point of view, a war without dates, without characters, the war of the common people, the people that is suffering because of the bombs and the hungry.
It was published between 2007 and 2009: “Malos tiempos” describe how human beings are able to adapt to every kind of situations. Giménez wants to wake up historic memory and remind the extreme poverty of that times.
