Our students<\/a> didn\u2019t miss the visit of H.M. the King of Spain to Granada!<\/h4>\n

Last Friday, May 30th, 2025, King Felipe VI<\/strong><\/a> visited Granada<\/a>. He came to our city to carry out institutional, religious, and military engagements. And of course, iNMSOL<\/strong><\/a> didn\u2019t miss it!<\/p>\n

\"King<\/a><\/p>\n

Renewal as Honorary Elder Brother<\/h3>\n

His Majesty visited the Basilica of Our Lady of Anguish, the patron saint of Granada, where he renewed his title as Honorary Elder Brother of the Brotherhood of Anguish. This gesture reaffirms the historical bond between the Crown and the city’s religious traditions.<\/p>\n

Meeting of the Royal Cavalry Orders<\/h3>\n

Later, the King presided over the annual meeting of the five Royal Cavalry Orders at the Royal Monastery of San Jer\u00f3nimo<\/a>. During the event, he presented the Hern\u00e1n P\u00e9rez del Pulgar Award, highlighting the importance of these institutions in Spain’s history and culture.<\/p>\n

Support for the Brotherhood of the Last Supper<\/h3>\n

As part of his visit, Felipe VI accepted the honorary presidency of the Centennial of the Brotherhood of the Last Supper and Holy Mary of Victory, one of the most representative brotherhoods of Granada\u2019s Holy Week. This institutional support underlines the monarch\u2019s commitment to the country\u2019s cultural and religious traditions.<\/p>\n

Meeting with the Public<\/h3>\n

The King also spent time with the citizens, greeting many Granadans who gathered to see him. His presence was warmly received, reflecting the public\u2019s affection for the monarchy.<\/p>\n
