Intensive Spanish course

The EBAU iNMSOL program includes 160 lessons of Intensive Spanish course, that is the study of the Spanish language (ELE). Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. These courses integrate all language skills:

Listening comprehension
Oral expression and interaction
Reading comprehension
Written expression and interaction

Teaching is carried out entirely in Spanish and without using any other language support, developing a direct, situational and communicative method.

LEVELS

Ou Intensive Spanish courses are available for all levels, from absolute beginner to C2. They structure of the courses refers to the 6 levels of knowledge of Spanish, as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the Curricular Plan of the Instituto Cervantes.

Participants in this program must take a level test prior to arrival. Then, we will have an approximation of the time required to achieve your linguistic objectives.

iNMSOL will inform the students if they would need to add Spanish lessons to the program.

In general, the minimum level necessary to access Spanish universities or higher education is B1. iNMSOL, will encourage participants to achieve a B2 level, since a superior command of the language will facilitate the learning of other subjects in a language other than their own.

This information is an estimation. Each student will advance more or less quickly depending on their abilities and the additional study time they dedicate outside of class.

DELE AND SIELE EXAMS AVAILABLE

At the end of the program iNMSOL will offer participants the possibility of taking the DELE or SIELE exams in our school.

The DELE exams (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) are official titles, accrediting the degree of competence and command of the Spanish language, awarded by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. The DELE exams are designed following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) of the Council of Europe, which guarantees a practical way to establish an international and objective standard measurement of the level that must be achieved at each stage of education and in the evaluation of results.

SIELE (International Service for the Evaluation of the Spanish Language) certifies the degree of command of the Spanish language online. It consists of four tests, which correspond to the four skills of the Spanish language: Reading comprehension, Listening comprehension, Written expression and interaction, and Oral expression and interaction.

In addition, most Spanish universities do accept it as a proof of the level. This will definitely be an advantage for our students.

Our school is an Accredited Center by the Instituto Cervantes, uninterruptedly, since 2002. All our programs are developed in accordance with the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and in accordance with the Instituto Cervantes Curriculum Plan.
