The SIELE exam
SIELE is the Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española which certifies electronically the command of the Spanish language proficiency for students and professionals. The candidaates takes an online official exams, and after that he/she receives the certificate. Instituto Mediterráneo Sol is an official examination centre.

Do you need to prove your level of Spanish urgently?
The SIELE exam may be the most suitable option for you. A large number of Spanish universities ask their students to possess an official Spanish certificate. Candidates need the official certificate in order to access or obtain undergraduate and graduate degrees. Depending on the university, the required level is different, being the most requested levels B1 and B2.

SIELE is promoted by the Instituto Cervantes, the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, the Universidad de Salamanca and the Universidad de Buenos Aires, which guarantees quality standards and good practices in the preparation of the tests.
Tests of the SIELE exam
The SIELE exam consists of four tests, which correspond to the four skills of the Spanish language:
- Reading comprehension (CL)
- Auditive comprehension (CA)
- Written expression and interaction (EIE)
- Oral expression and interaction (EIO)
The qualifications of each test are based on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe.
