The Granada Book Fair<\/strong> is the time of year when Granada reveals its full cultural and literary essence. This year, the 44th edition<\/strong> will transform the heart of the city into a vibrant stage of stories, encounters, and discoveries.<\/p>\n

For Spanish language students<\/strong>, attending this event is not just a leisure opportunity. It is a unique way to immerse yourself in the Spanish language<\/strong> and in Granada’s social life.<\/p>\n

Dates and Location: The Beating Heart of Granada<\/h3>\n

The Granada Book Fair 2026<\/strong> will take place from April 23 to May 3<\/strong>. The opening date is no coincidence: it coincides with World Book Day<\/strong> and the feast of Saint George<\/strong> \u2014 patron saint of booksellers in many Spanish-speaking countries. The stalls will stretch along the charming Carrera de la Virgen<\/strong><\/a> and Fuente de las Batallas<\/strong><\/a>, just steps from iNMSOL. It is a strategic location that allows you to move from our Spanish classes to total immersion in literary vocabulary<\/strong> in less than five minutes.<\/p>\n

This year’s theme, “As\u00ed que pasen cinco a\u00f1os”<\/strong>, pays tribute to the great Granadan poet Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca<\/strong>. The fair is strongly focused on supporting Granada’s bid to become European Capital of Culture 2031<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
