We welcomed a group of students from Italy who paid tribute to the Granada-based band Izeta.
The students from Instituto Mediterráneo Sol are simply the best—no doubt about it! And today, we want to give a special shout-out to our most recent group from Liceo Statale Carlo Montanari in Verona. Why? Because they’ve completed a truly original audiovisual project!

Here’s the full story.
IZETA: A Band Born in Granada
IZETA is an alternative pop band formed in 2021. They were the winners of the 2024 “Emergentes” competition for emerging bands in Granada.
The band members are:
- Virginia (vocals, synths, keyboard, and drum machine)
- Santi (vocals and guitars)
- Laura Fernández (drums)
- Candela García (bass)
Their music is known for its punchy beats, enveloping guitar riffs layered over synth textures, and the magnetic chemistry of their vocal harmonies.
The Project: Recreating Their Most Iconic Music Video
As part of iNMSOL’s commitment to promoting local culture, we included special activities in this group’s academic program.
One of these was this project: the students had to recreate the music video for Quiero conocerte, a song by Izeta.
The original video was entirely filmed in Granada, showcasing various corners of the city. The students had to find and film these exact spots!
And they did an amazing job! Below is the final edit (created by the students themselves):
We think they’ve done meticulous and creative work—including an unexpected plot twist! Congratulations, everyone! We loved it, and we’ll be sharing it with Izeta.

Spanish for Groups in Granada
iNMSOL has been offering language stays for student groups since 1993. These stays include all the services students may need:
- Accommodation with host families
- Airport pick-up service
- Cultural activities
- Excursions to places of interest outside Granada
And of course, an intensive Spanish course at our Instituto Cervantes-accredited center. Our intensive courses meet all the quality standards required by our accreditation.
For group stays, our academic team designs a custom academic program based on the needs of each group. These programs also include creative activities and projects that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals outlined in the 2030 Agenda:
- Quality education
- Improving relationships with our community, our environment, and social stakeholders
We hope the students from Liceo Statale Carlo Montanari enjoyed their stay. From all of us at iNMSOL, thank you for your participation and creativity. We hope to see you again very soon!
