As you already know, there are different DELE levels that you can apply for: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, corresponding to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Every level has a different exam structure that you should know perfectly before you sit for the exam.

This level recognises the capacity to understand and use the most common day-today expressions and simple sentences, in order to meet common real-life needs. This exam has 4 parts:
Total exam duration: 1 hour 55 minutes
This level recognises the Capacity to understand commonly used phrases and expressions in especially relevant experience areas, to communicate when carrying out simple everyday activities. This exam has 4 parts:
Total exam duration: 2 hours 49 minutes
This level recognises the capacity to understand the key points of texts about familiar issues, and to handle most situations in everyday life. This exam has 4 parts:
Total exam duration: 3 hours 20 minutes
This level recognises the capacity to understand the gist of complex texts and to interact with native speakers with sufficient fluency and spontaneity. This exam has 4 parts:
Total exam duration: 3 hours 50 minutes
This level recognises the capacity to understand a wide range of complex, long texts, and to express themselves effortlessly, fluently and spontaneously. This exam has 4 parts:
Total exam duration: 4 hours 20 minutes
This level recognises the capacity to easily understand almost everything they hear or read, and to express themselves spontaneously, with a great degree of fluency and accuracy. This exam has 4 parts:
Total exam duration: 5 hours 05 minutes
Each part of the exams can score up to 25 points, equal to 25% of the total punctuation, with a maximum of 100 points in total. You will need a minimum of 20 points in every part in order to pass the exam. A minimum of the 60% of the tasks must be done correctly.
