Our Summer Spanish courses for Teens 2021 have been held with all guarantees.
Who said that 2021 was not a year to enjoy and travel?
Our group of students has been able to get to know the city of Granada and learn Spanish safely. iNMSOL has organized a full program of activities for them. And, along with their intensive Spanish course, they have practiced the language in different situations.
Our courses for Teens are the best option to take advantage of the summer:
- Students live with native Spanish families
- They receive an intensive Spanish course in our Instituto Cervantes’ accredited center
- The activity program focuses on their needs and likes
- Our center offers a 24/7 phone number. The staff is in permanent contact with their host families and parents
- They receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course
- And many reasons more!
These programs are available every summer, during the month of June. And, how has the course of 2021 gone?
Intensive Spanish course
Before their arrival, students send an online level test. iNMSOL analyzes the tests and prepares a program adapted to the resulting level. And of course to make the most of their stay!
Students receive an intensive Spanish course according to their level. The courses take place in the morning, from Monday to Friday. And they are taught by our native teachers,
highly qualified and experienced.
Activity program
Cultural workshops
As a complement to Spanish lessons students attend themed workshops at the school. These workshops’ topcis could be: vocabulary, pronunciation, culture, music, etc.
On the other hand, there is a tutorial on grammar every week. This tutorial helps students to deal with their weaknesses in the language.
Guided walks and routes
We want to show them our city! The course for Teens includes guided walks through the main areas of Granada:
- The city center
- Albaicín neighborhood
- The Realejo
- Sacromonte neighborhood + flamenco show
And also some interesting routes, such as the graffiti route. On this route you can visit the graffiti of one of the most recognized artists in Granada: El Niño de las Pinturas.
Language exchange
In addition to Spanish lessons, which include conversation and vocabulary, they can attend a language exchange! In these exchanges you meet people from all countries, and they are distributed in groups according to the languages that they want to practice. There are always natives! And it’s a lot of fun.
Escape room
Mystery, riddles and clues … In the escape room activity, students sharpen their wits and they practice their vocabulary to be able to escape. A very fun and exciting activity!
A MUST
Our young students cannot return home without visiting these two places.
Science Park
The Granada Science Park is especially known for its Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory, in which more than 7000 stars are reproduced. But also for its Biodomo: a space to understand the relationships that exist between living beings and the environment in which they live.
In it various natural habitats are recreated, very interesting!
The Alhambra and the Generalife
And, of course, you cannot miss a visit to our best monument: The Alhambra and the Generalife. It is the most visited monument in Spain, and it is no wonder! This set of castle, fortress, palace, city and gardens, was built in the Nasrid period (between the 13th and 14th centuries).
Despite being a strange year, in which we are still feeling the effects of the pandemic, we have been able to welcome our students!
