Tomorrow, Thursday the 5th of March, the punk music icon of the 80’s, Evan Dando, is going to play at the Boogaclub in Granada.
Evan started the band The Lemonheads during the winter of 1986, when he was only 19, and after only a month, the band recorded their first album. The newly born band went on tour from Boston around the United States which made them become tremendously popular. Among the famous songs it is impossible to forget It’s a shame about Ray, Come on Feel The Lemonheads and their first Ep Laughing All the Way to the Cleaners. After the disbandment, Evan published his first solo album in 2001, entitled Live at the Brattle Theatre/Griffith Sunset, and following with some featurings as singer in the MC5’s tour, Evan started his actual tour around America and Europe, in which he revise the old successes taken by The Lemonheads and his solo albums.
All the fond of punk music will have the occasion to listen to Evan Dando and his acoustic guitar at the Boogaclub, in Santa Bárbara Street n°3, tomorrow from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.. The entrance will cost 12€, and it is already possible to buy the tickets in the webpage Ticketea.com.
