Although with the time change the nights have been shortened, the longest night of the year is coming with the fifth edition of the Noche en Blanco of Granada.
On Saturday April the 14th, 2018, the city of the Alhambra wears culture in all its corners so that locals and tourists could enjoy a different view of it. On this occasion, more than 200 free activities for all ages will take place. From guided tours to musical performances, as well as a host of cultural events related to literature, art, music, dance, science and gastronomy.
The event will officially start at 7pm, with a performance of the Municipal Music Band in Plaza de las Pasiegas, followed by a very rich program that, among other things, includes concerts, folkloric performances and many shows throughout the city, from squares to museums. Shops will follow a special schedule and there will also be performances and activities in bars and restaurants. In addition, as this edition wants to be a tribute to Manuel de Falla, many activities, especially in the Auditorium that bears his name, will be dedicated to who is considered one of the most important Spanish composers of the previous century.
