On Thursday, August 29, a group of Trento’s students arrived from Italy, sharing their experience with us in Granada. They arrived around 5.30pm, the guys of Trento met the families where they would be hosted for 15 days. Living with these families aims to integrate Trento’s students into the Spanish culture, they have the opportunity to speak all the time in Spanish and to try typical specialties, making this cultural experience to the fullest. These guys who have already studied or for the first time approach to the Spanish language, have the possibility to speak all the time in Spanish with teachers and host families.
The day after their arrival, they were immediately welcomed into the school to start the Spanish language course. All teachers use every possible tool to encourage the class to work together, as a team, and do it through stimulating lessons.
The days from Monday to Friday, from 9.00am until 13.30pm, the students took Spanish lessons with professors who were experts in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (ELE, Español como Lengua Extranjera). The teacher were also excellent guides during the multiple trips of the students…
Their stay also included visits to many places, such as the Realejo’s barrio, the Albaicín’s barrio and a visit to the impressive Alhambra and Generalife.
On August 10 the students left Granada for Italy, the days spent together were intense and full of emotions and activities, we hope that this stay was unforgettable and that it left so many positive memories of Granada and iNMSOL.
