Want your students to experience a complete Andalusian immersion? Learn about our language stays in Granada, just like those enjoyed by our recent groups.
International Language Stays at INMSOL
During their language stay in Granada, groups from around the world experienced a typical Andalusian week. iNMSOL has been visited by two groups of Italian students, one from Angola, and another from Massachusetts.
Granada was not just a city to visit. The language stay was a true open-air classroom where Spanish comes alive among cobblestone streets and blooming gardens.
From Classrooms to Streets: Spanish That Breathes
The morning begins in the school, where iNMSOL teachers transform lessons into lively conversations.
Practical Spanish in the classroom, like ordering a drink at the café downstairs or asking how to get back to your host family. And practical Spanish in the kitchens of Granada families. Between plates of freshly made tortilla and stories told over dinner. Every language stay in Granada holds these moments of authenticity.
Language Stays Among Palaces and Alleys: The Heart of the City
But it is when you step out of the classroom thatGranada reveals its true character. The groups followed our guides along a path that felt like a journey through time: from the red towers of the Alhambra, where water still flows through centuries-old channels, to the Generalife gardens where the scent of jasmine accompanies every step.
Then they made their way down to the Albaicín, where whitewashed houses climb the hillside and viewpoints offer endless views of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada.
In the Realejo, instead, street art tells the stories: colorful graffiti transforms walls into open-air galleries, and the students discovered how urban art dialogues with tradition.
Flamenco, Tourism, and Unexpected Discoveries in Granada
The rhythm could not be missing. In a dance class, the students tried moving their hands and feet to flamenco beat. Funny thing is, they discovered that Andalusian pasión is not easily imitated. Then, visits that opened windows onto professional worlds.
At the Provincial Federation of Hospitality and Tourism they understood how the beating heart of the local economy works. While at the Tourism Board, they learned how the city builds the image that millions of people dream of visiting.
Language Stays in Granada: An Experience That Sticks
On their flights back home, students return with training and certificates. But also photographs of sunsets over the Alhambra and phone numbers of new friends they met. Most of all, they understood that a language is truly learned only when it is lived. For us at iNMSOL, every Spanish study stay in Granada is a story to tell. This one, with its four international groups, is just the latest in a long series that has been going on for many years and will continue for a long time to come.
