HAMMAMS OF AL ANDALUZ ORGANIZE THE THIRD MATCH  OF CHESS IN THE WATER THAT WILL BE HELD IN HAMMAMS OF Granada, Cordoba and Madrid, at 18pm.

El Hammam in times of Al Andalus was a hygienic place and a prepared space for social gathering, where people met for making business,  talking,  reading and playing games such as Chess.

Chess was introduced by the Arabs in the Iberian Peninsula and became a widely practiced game and the Andalusians.

“Hammams of Al Andalus”, in their quest to recover lost traditions of that mythical era, organized the second match chess in the water in their centers of Granada, Cordoba and Madrid.
