For early September 2011 two members of SacromonteANDO have joined 
energies and passion to create a festival called “Festival Flamenco de las Cuevas” which honors the Sacromonte, with its caves and flamenco.
The festival is led by Carmen de las Cuevas, a well known school of flamenco and Museo de las Cuevas del Sacromonte, a unique setting for this festival.
The Festival will start on Thursday Sept. 1st, with a show called “Todo Carmen de las Cuevas” where you can enjoy many of the artists linked to the Flamenco school. Singers will be David Sorroche and Sergio el Colorao, guitar players will be Jorge el Pisao, Luis de Melchor and Marcos Palometas, while dancers: Estefanía Martínez, Judit Cabrera, Maricarmen Guerrero, Pilar Fajardo, Raimundo Benítez and Javier Martos.
On Tuesday Sept. 6th Ana Cali will present his show ” De cobre y lunares “.
Javier Martos will close the festival on Thursday, Sept. 8th by showing: “Amalgama”.
This September enjoy the Sacromonte night, the coolness of the valley, the incredible views and, of course, the best flamenco.
