Hello to everyone!
Today we’re going to talk about the visit of an English group of students, coming from Leeds! Our activities lasted 10 days, during which they could enjoy the beauty of Granada and its culture, learning Spanish with our classes.
On Monday 8 of April they arrived in the evening and their host families were waiting for them to have dinner and spend some spare time together.
SCHOOL AND ACTIVITIES
Their first day was dedicated to visiting the city centre and Realejo area; on Wednesday the Spanish Course with our professors started. Every morning these students had the opportunity to learn Spanish in our school, while during the afternoon they enjoyed different cultural activities.
They visited Federico García Lorca native home Museum in Fuente Vaqueros, the most emblematic places in Granada, such as the Albaicín, Sacromonte and the Alhambra and Generalife Monumental Complex.
Furthermore, in order to reach the heart of this city, our students took part in a flamenco practical class. Flamenco represents the gipsy identity and Granada can be considered its crandle.
Thursday 18 of April came and it was time to say goodbye! We hope that this experience has been useful to discover some cultural aspects of Granada and to improve Spanish language.
