Tomorrow, Wednesday 28th of February, we celebrate the Day of Andalucía, which commemorates the referendum about the initiative of the Andalusian autonomous process of 1980, which gave full autonomy to Andalusian community.
Cultural planning to celebrate the Day of Andalucía in Granada
This year the city of Granada counts on a wide programme of cultural activities to enjoy the Day of Andalucía and in this celebration will take part more than 500 educational centres of the province with flamenco performance, traditional plays and helpful breakfasts.
At 12 am the Casa de los Tiros will host a free entry concert of Miguel Soler accompanied by the guitars of Rafael Soler and Miguel Corral, with a repertory of Lorca, Miguel Hernández and Rafael León themes, concluding with the interpretation by Blas Infante of the Andalusian anthem.
In the same place you can visit the exhibition “Domus Antiqua: 100 years since the acquisition of the Casa del Castril for the Museum”, and also the showing of 12 large format paintings entitled “Brazam Trípticos”.
In the Alhambra too there will be a special programming, in fact “La Alhambra jonda”, a family flamenco workshop, and another about calligraphy, will be set in motion. Another activity will be a free guided tour to the exhibition “La piel de la Alhambra” from 10 am to 2 pm. In addition to this, at 1 pm in the Palacio de Carlos V, will take place a recital of the soprano Laura Moyano, accompanied by Santiago Alonso at the piano.
The Museo de Bellas Artes celebrates this festivity with a concert of the flamenco guitarist, song writer and music producer Luis Mariano. And also with the “José Guerrero. Obra gráfica” exhibition, made of 58 works of art created with different techniques where his passion for the colour is emphasized.
