Sierra Nevada celebrates this weekend the World Snow Day with more than 100 kilometers of skiable surface.
At the same time, in collaboration with the Ski Schools of Sierra Nevada, special prices will be offered for beginners snow courses, including the material and ski forfaits.
World Snow Day
The World Snow Day is celebrated on January 19. It was established six years ago by the International Ski Federation, with a campaign called “Take the children to the snow”. This campaign aimed to facilitate an approach of children to the snow and the winter sports.
Enjoy the weekend in Sierra Nevada
The ski resort of Sierra Nevada has prepared an extensive program of activities that include:
- Leisure activities in Pradollano.
- The IV Trophy Alevín Cross Ski Club Granada, which will take place at Loma de Dílar.
- The XIV Alevín María José Rienda Alpine Ski Trophy. Organized by the Club Monachil, that will be developed in Borreguiles and Prado de las Monjas.
- Infant gymkhanas on the track The Sea of Borreguiles. The gymkhana will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 12 noon.
