After two years without being able to live the tradition of Holy Week in Granada, “big festival of international tourist interest”, the Isabel la Católica theatre will stage the show Nazarenos, an artistic proposal that unites the Holy week and Flamenco “putting the focus of interest in this festive tradition, which is the main protagonist of the cultural event scheduled” according to the words of the Councillor for Culture, Lucia Garrido. This is how the Holy Flemish Week is born.
Therefore, lovers of this art and amateur public, can enjoy this proposal, with total tranquility, since all security measures are guaranteed.
There will be 3 sessions: two on Saturday, April 3 (12:30/16:30) and one on Easter Sunday at 12:30.
Despite the difficult time we are all living, a great effort has been made to allow this project to see the light and take advantage of Holy Flemish Week and, according to the words of the choreographer Juan Andrés Maya and the guest artist, Potito, some of the protagonists of the program, is an “emotion to be able to capture in a theater the feelings that hide the Holy Week of Granada” and “after two years without being able to live this tradition, it is a satisfaction to be able to make this show in this city”.
Tickets can be purchased on the Redentradas platform and at the theatre box office.
Other initiatives that will fill the Granada spring will follow in the coming months, and from iNMSOL, we encourage you to enjoy them!
