We have just spent a very nice month with to special students in our Spanish school iNMSOL. For the first time we received students aged under 14 for such a long period of time: during 4 weeks we had two kids aged 12 and 8, total beginners, in our school where they got in touch with the Spanish language for the very first time. With lessons adapted to the needs of a child they learned the basic skills to communicate in Spanish. Thanks to the commitment of our teacher Roberto who didn’t get tired of inventing new games and exercises in order to catch the kid’s interest, they made a noticeable progress concerning their Spanish skills.

But of course they did not have to study all day long! In iNMSOL we offer a program of different activities in the afternoon: guided walks through the most important districts of Granada, grammatical or lexical workshops, trips to the beach, movie sessions in the school, visits of museums or monuments such as the Alhambra and Generalife or excursions to touristic destinations like for example Seville, Córdoba or the Alpujarras.

Those activities are very important, on the one hand because they bring the students closer to the Spanish culture, a very important element in the learning process of a language. And on the other hand those activities offer the possibility to talk and practice what the students have learned in class in a more relaxed and interactive atmosphere. And of course it is a good opportunity to get to know the other students, make friends and get to know or beautiful city of Granada.
