One more group of students came last week to Instituto Mediterráneo Sol. These guys from Switzerland have spent a week in Granada, living with our host families and having an intensive Spanish course with us. It has been a really intensive week, indeed! The students have had the whole course really well combined with plenty of activities around the city.
While the Granada was celebrating its most important festivals of the year (Feria 
del Corpus Christi), our Swiss students took part of the celebrations by enjoying the special atmosphere in their excursions to the historical quarters of Albaicín and Sacromonte. They even took a day off to get to visit the seaside… the weather was perfect for a beach trip!
The flamenco and sevillanas workshop has been one of the most exciting activities, according to them! They were taught some of the basic steps of these typical Spanish dances, and had a great time learning and practicing about our culture.
We would like to say thanks to all of them! It’s been a really nice group, and it has been an amazing week for us. Hopefully we will meet again soon!
