Almendrados

Preparation Method

Today enjoy the recipe of sweet spanish cakes with almonds: almendrados.

  1. Put in a bowl the ground almonds, sugar, eggs, cinnamon and grated lemon zest.
  2. Mix all ingredients until smooth mass.
  3. Form small balls.
  4. Impregnate them with brandy and coat in icing sugar.
  5. Preheat oven to 180º.
  6. Put the cakes in the oven and bake until they are golden brown.
  7. Let them cool and serve!

Ingredients

  • ¼ kg of ground almonds
  • ¼ kg of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Grated lemon zest
  • ¼ cup of brandy
  • Icing sugar
