Preparation Method:

  1. In a saucepan cook over medium heat the milk, flour, lemon zest and sugar.
  2. Mix with a wooden spoon and let it thicken (about 5 minutes).
  3. Pour the mass into a baking pan and let it cool.
  4. Cut squares with side of 4 cm.
  5. Whisk two eggs.
  6. Coat the squares with flour and egg (once or twice).
  7. Pour plenty of oil in a pan and heat.
  8. Fry the squares until they are golden brown on both sides.
  9. Meanwhile mix sugar and cinnamon.
  10. Remove the squares, remove excess oil and coat with cinnamon and sugar.
