Here the recipe of a sweet that is mainly produced in Santa Fe, province of Granada.
1. First of all let’s prepare the cream. Put in a pot milk, lemon grated and sugar,when the mixture starts to boil, add the flour and the beaten eggs.
2. Mix all the ingredients and let it boil for other 3 minutes.
3. We can pass to the preparation of the cookie.We can beat the yolks with 2 spoons of cold milk and sugar.
4. Add the starch and the beaten egg whites
5. Put the mixture in paper moulders and put it in the oven for 10 minutes
6. Prepare the syrup with water and sugar and pour it into the cookie
7. To finish with, fill the cookie with the cream and sprinkle a little bit of sugar on top of it. Toast it lightly until the cream on top becomes golden
